Bishopton Parish Council has agreed to purchase decorations to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day – these will be displayed throughout the village. Volunteers may be needed to assist with this so please contact Chairman Nortman Melaney of the Clerk on clerk@bishoptonvillage.co.uk.
There will also be special VE Day themed Community Cafe on Friday 2nd May from 9:30 onwards – prizes for best fancy dress and authentic costumes to match the occasion
