Bishopton Village is located between Darlington and Stockton. It consists of about 450 residents and is well known for its 12th Century Motte.

Although Bishopton Village  has a Stockton on Tees postal address and a Sedgefield telephone STD code it is situated in the Borough of Darlington and as such is governed by Darlington Borough Council

The Parish Council has, unfortunately, received a number of complaints that parking around The Green is not in keeping with the access requirements of residents.
