Bishopton Village is located between Darlington and Stockton. It consists of about 450 residents and is well known for its 12th Century Motte.

Although Bishopton Village  has a Stockton on Tees postal address and a Sedgefield telephone STD code it is situated in the Borough of Darlington and as such is governed by Darlington Borough Council

VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebrations

Bishopton Parish Council has agreed to purchase decorations to mark the 80th Anniversary of VE Day – these will be displayed throughout the village.
