Crime in Bishopton

The Parish of Bishopton enjoys a very low crime rate, as such, it can often be neglected when it comes to regular policing.

Steve Rose, Clerk to the Parish Council, is the the local crime liaison. Should you feel anything needs bringing to the attention of the parish council please contact him.

PCSO (7355) Andy Cusik is our Police contact, He is a member of the Rural NPT. He says “Our aim is to prevent/reduce crime and deal with Anti-Social behaviour affecting our communities.”

The priorities for Bishopton have been agreed in prior meetings and all the partners are working towards reducing anti-social behaviour in the village. Speeding also remains a priority and we are also working towards educating motorists who travel through the villages by the use of speed watch. The village will soon have its own equipment and those involved carry out regular speed watch checks.

The current crime report for each month is incorporated into  the Parish Council meetings.
