What you need to know

The support hub is a service providing basic food supplies and assistance with the urgent delivery of prescriptions to those who are shielded (identified by the NHS as at particular risk) and who are the most isolated. If this is you please get in touch with us so that we can help you.

Food packages will consist of basic items, and are likely to vary depending upon the type of food we have been able to source. We will try to accommodate dietary requirements where we can, but this can’t be guaranteed.

If you can safely get food and medication for yourself, or have family, friends, or good neighbours to help you, please use these channels. We need the hub to be able to provide for those who are most in need.

There are a number of ways you can order food and other essentials when self isolating. In addition to local supermarkets offering home delivery and ‘click and collect’ we have compiled a list [external link] of local shops and restaurants also offering home delivery services.

Any other adult social care should be accessed through the existing council channels. Information on support from the voluntary and community sector is updated daily.

Please do not call the HUB for medical advice if you are experiencing symptoms of the virus; if you are experiencing symptoms, please visit 111.nhs.uk[external link].
